  I go into this store everytime I’m in town and have always been greeted and the staff have always been helpful. The staff asked me if I needed help in every dept I entered. The last 2 times I’ve checked out there I’ve had the same person. Huge shout out to Tank and his awesome attitude and personality. He’s super friendly, extremely helpful and just truly a joy to associate with. He has a contagious smile and I hope he gets a pat on the back from management.

  They were supposed to be cheaper on stuff. You might as well go to Dick's sporting goods, no difference.

  Be careful. I ordered three inexpensive items online and they use FED EX for delivery, and they REQUIRE someone to be there to sign for the delivery and Academy Sports allows ZERO OPTIONS...someone MUST BE THERE to sign. You can't go to the FED EX facility. You cannot have the neighbor or business next door sign, you MUST BE THERE ALL DAY. I simply am not willing to give up hundreds of dollars of overtime to sit around the house ALL DAY for 80$ worth of stuff. The shipping address does not match any of the store locations so I did pick this one at random. Just a few mags I should have used Ebay.
