Return Policy is a JOKE! Effectively non-existent…if you use a product you are not able to return or exchange. How do you know if a product meets your specific needs without trying it? MOST ALL other retailers offer a much more consumer friendly policy and would recommend that you DO NOT buy from Academy. After conversations with a representative and two managers the response was an absolute NO, even though I was simply interested in an exchange! Very disappointing and now I have a single use item that does not meet my needs!!

Do not go to this store. We had a coupon that our order qualified for. When they scanned it they said it "had been used already". It hadn't. It was in my account rewards. The manager came up was so rude and incompetent. We will be going to a different store from now on. Do better Academy and get the coupons working like they are supposed to. Second time 6 months this has happened.

Got a heavy punching bag hanger. Also got my veterans discount. The employee's were helpful and attentive it was overall a pleasant experience..

I just left the store. Very dissatisfied with the treatment I just received from the “Manager”. We tried using a coupon received via mail because we had open their credit card weeks ago. The “Manager” said he was certain it was previously used which it wasn’t the case; otherwise I wouldn't be trying to use it.
He said, people try doing this all the time; I’ll honor it but what you are doing is NOT CORRECT, and he continued saying that over and over in an accusatory tone and then walked away. Additionally, he said, I’m the Manager, I know what I’m talking about..
Very disappointing to be treated this way. According to the cashier, the Manager’s name was Crew. I will be escalating this to corporate as well.
