  Awful customer service. My mom, daughter, and I were in the store for at least 15 minutes and no one who worked there acknowledged us. We went with questions but left without answers. I don't plan to go back anytime soon.

  I bought adidas soccer shoes for $100 and my son wear them a few times and within the window to return them but they won’t. They stink so bad because they’re plastic and not breathable at all. No matter what we did is not working. We tried washing them….The whole house stinks because of these shoes. And we have experience with soccer shoes I have three kids who play soccer all the time for 11 years. That’s why you should shop only at Dick’s. They always stand by their products and care for their customers.

  Much rather go here than other big name sports stores. They had helpful associates. My son (10) went in with his own money and the associates treated him like a king and he loved it.

  Went in today to find some sort of compression tights. Asked the workers that were all hudled around talking where I might find such item or similar item. They just pointed and said there should be some over there in that direction, instead of actually taking the time to show me. I understand I probably looked like a bum from just getting off a 10hr shift at a restaurant in the back of the house, but that's no excuse to not help a first time customer as your store is pretty big and hard to find exactly what you're looking for if you've never been there before. I still made a purchase, but hated myself for doing so. I just really needed the item I purchased. You all have got to do better with customer service! At least the cashier was nice.

  I recently ordered a Firearm into the store. I was not allowed to inspect the firearm before signing paperwork and was only able to inspect it once I got home. I found damage from shipping and found the frame chipped. Since Academy has a no return policy I am now screwed with a brand new damaged firearm. If you order any firearms to Academy make sure they let you inspect it so you can make sure they have not damaged the firearm in shipping. Do not let them keep the firearm away from you so you cannot inspect it. Very dissapointed with my interaction. Sportsmans will be my go to from now on.
