  Glad they built an Academy Sports here. Big, new, beautiful store. Good selection. They lose a star for inadequate number of cashiers and they only have a military discount during some promotion period. Nearby Bass Pro has a 10 percent military discount all year long.

  Stopped in to look for a gift for a very very dear friend. The line was super long and decided to just get a gift card. I asked if there was a speedy checkout just for the car but I was told I had to wait in line with the other 50 people just for my gift card. They almost lost my business but one employee stepped up and did me a solid. Since all I wanted was a gift card, he checked me out on a side register and sent me on my way. High five my friend. Definitely be back
