Never purchase a firearm from this academy unless you want to never receive it! A family member of mine purchased a rifle a month ago and it had to be returned and bought again.Last week they told my family member he can come back to collect his firearm monday August 4th. When he arrived to complete the background check and receive the firearm, an employee by the name of “Quad” was extremely rude and dismissive. After waiting for 30+ minutes, she told him the gun “wasn’t there,” then magically found it — but ultimately refused to run the required federal background check, claiming they “didn’t feel comfortable” and offered no legal reason for denying the transfer. This is a violation of federal law. Licensed firearm dealers (like Academy) are legally required to run a NICS background check before completing any transfer. Instead, he was denied service, treated disrespectfully, and given zero answers. Even when asked to explain, the staff responded with, “We don’t have to answer you.”
The staff members refused to give my military veteran father, who’s been waiting for a month already, his firearm. This experience was not only unprofessional — it was unlawful. If you care about your rights and being treated with basic respect, go somewhere else for your sporting goods and firearms needs.

Friendly and helpful employees. Sometimes the prices online are different from the prices in the store. Example: The ammo I wanted, was $3 cheaper online. So I ordered the ammo in the store with my cell and picked it up 30 minutes later at a better price.
