- 55555 55Oct 9, 20251.0Probably the most incompetent staff I’ve ever had to deal with. You have to call multiple times to even get someone on the phone. I ordered shoes for my kid and they said the order was canceled, I never canceled my order! Management is completely incompetent. They even sent me a text saying my package was ready for pick up.
- LHLillian HofmannAug 30, 20252.0Me and my boyfriend don’t mind shopping at academy with their high prices due to having a first responder discount but today the cashier told us that they only do military / first responder discounts SOMETIMES with zero explanation. It just didn’t make sense to me. I guess I would just like to know when they are doing the discounts so I can know when to shop there and when to not.

I was totally impressed. Since I'm an avid fisherman I could be in need of some specific fishing rods based on how I'm fishing at the time. its about a 25 mile drive for me, but worth it! There are no other Academy's around me that come close to this one.

The staff comments were probably because the customers were just bad customers who wanted to treat the employees like servants. The staff were super nice to us and offered to help multiple times without being annoying. Feels like a Dicks without being pretentious like one. Plus tons of deals right now.
