  So far you are a newly opened store. Today my husband and I visited your store. It was a great experience. Good prices. Excellent customer service. We were back in guns.. looking for a holster. Jacob and another young man took them out of the package went over several holsters to help me find one that is comfortable . We couldn't find a item and my husband saw an employee and he knew right where the item was. Upon check out the young lady was very nice. She made small talk with us both.

  Wouldn’t let me set something aside even though they knew I was going to come back the next day to buy it. Very rude and I hate this store already. Very unprofessional staff.

  Purchased several things and left realized that she didn't charge me for a knife and double charged for another item I purchased. Basically I was going to owe them more money but I was making it right. Went back in for same sales associate (Sounded like she was the manager or at least asst. Manager) that checked us out seemed irritated that I brought this to their attention. The knife was marked sale. $17.99 but then it rang it up as $34.99. I walked to the knife section with the same associate and pointed out where it said it was on sale. Went up to the front and she goes it's $34.99. I did not end up purchasing said knife. Apparently it was in the wrong section. Not a good first experience. Dicks or Dunham's will get my business for now on. I will have a real hard time suggesting them.

  Very very excited to have Academy Sports in Mishawaka! I used to go to the one in KY all the time. It’s good to have a store that will offer competitive ammo prices and a nice fishing section. I went to the opening day. Staff was friendly and was able to keep the lines moving.

  Great place! Big selection of fishing equipment. Outdoors and camping supplies. Kayaks. Name brand clothing / active ware. Northface and Columbia to name a few. A lot of sales going on when I was there. They had just opened 6 days ago. Nice employee's. Fast check out. I did not walk the whole store. Stopped in to check the place out. I personally was impressed. Drive right pass Dick's and check out Academy Sports. I think you will be glad you did. Give them a try.
