  Wow! Hire better employees Academy. By far the worst Academy experience I’ve ever had. General lack of customer service from two separate employees. I get it, it’s Sunday morning and you don’t want to be at work and don’t like your job but I didn’t order a side of attitude with my purchase!

  Went in to get some commodities for rifle cleaning. Couldn't find what I wanted in stock. Not to mention nothing was remotely organized in some shelves. Prices were jacked up as well from online stores. Fine. I'll just pick up the missing stuff online. Went to the cashier. She was incredibly rude and short with me. When I asked for a veteran's discount, which is company policy on the website, she refused before even asking to see my ID. Insisted on it being "Only on veteran oriented holidays". Do yourself a favor and just go shop elsewhere or online. This store couldn't care less about following company policy or keeping their store organized and stocked, much less disrespecting someone who asked for what the store policy explicitly states.

  This store is not a store to do your trading with. I stopped in on 9/27 to use a $10 discount code for a work boot on my ranch. I picked up the wrong size. Today, 9/28 I stop in to exchange for a different size. They did not have the size so they gave me a different style, still same brand and same price. When I go to the customer service to exchange; the old lady did not know how to do a proper exchange so she said since my discount was used yesterday, it is considered expired and she can not honor their $10 discount. I do home and call Josh, a manager. He said in order to get the $10 credit I need to come back to the store. He said he could not do that unless I come back. I reminded him that is another 40 minutes of my time for a store error. It is worthy to note, this was charged on an Academy credit card. I told Josh this is why loyal customers go to the competition. He acknowledged that he understands but still would not do anything about it.
