  Im not discounting anyone elses experience that may not have gone well, but I have nothing but nice things to say about my experience today. My daughter is just starting the clarinet, we ended up looking for music stores to buy a used instrament and after a couple of dead ends, tried calling Academy Music. The man who answered the phone (owner?) was very pleasant and gave us some options after asking what we were looking to spend. After discussion, he went and found a good option for us, and agreed to hold it for my wife and I until we could go in. When we got in, met us at the door, again very friendly. We did find out at that point however it was cash/check only, but truthfully nothing a 10min trip to the bank couldnt fix. Walked us through everything we needed to know, threw in a couple of reeds (which he did not need to do, but was much appreciated), and we were on our way! Overall very pleased and will go back in the future.

  The place only takes cash or check. Must be nice to have a monopoly near the Solon schools. Would be great to enter 21st century and take electronic forms of payment

  Haven't been here yet, but wanted to come tonight to get my daughter fitted for her Instrument at 7 PM. They would not answer the phone when closing isn't till 8 pm per the website.
