  If you are in the Hickory area and need blinds, consider your options. My initial interactions with Ed and his team were positive. He came to measure the windows and was polite. His son was new to the blind business and was helping him for a while. Ed was very busy and was always in a hurry when he came to do anything. The blinds were initially installed in October 2023, and the cords on most of the blinds were not long enough to reach. The new cord assemblies were finally installed in February/March 2024. However, prior to the final fix, Ed showed up to the house in early February 2024 and seemed confused about what he was there to do and did not even have the cord assemblies to install. His attitude and stance was out of left field and was completely unexpected. I had previously met with Tim Cline that has a AAA Blind franchise out of Morganton. I wish that I would have used Tim. I believe that he was more experienced in the industry and is a caring and honest man.
