  We had an emergency with our garage door and I called A1 garage and I have to have one of their flyers that came through the mail recently. I called and described that we needed someone out immediately even though it was 5:30 PM. They took all my information and they said they would have a technician out within a half hour 45 minutes and Joshua Hernandez the technician showed up. He very courteous very nice and what I like about is that a one shared a little bit about biography of their technicians so I learned that Mr. Hernandez had been in the army for several years and also had three beautiful loving daughters and we discussed about the military life as I’m a military spouse retired and then he went to work and our two door garage door and then on the smaller garage door. Very thorough very informative and then ended up that we did do some replacement on the large garage door and then he showed me pictures and then we walked around on the inside and outside of the small garage door and we have to replace that garage door because it couldstop functioning anytime. Very professional great work very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Joshua Hernandez and I plan to refer him to all my patients and clients if and when they need repair or whatever their needs are with their garage doors, I’m impressed with the company as well.

  I had a fantastic experience with the technician Aaron who came out this morning. He was incredibly professional, and knowledgeable. Not only did he fix the immediate issue of the loud noises my garage door was making, but he also took the time to walk me through how everything works. He inspected each component springs, rollers, cables, and the opener and clearly explained its condition, pointing out what was in good shape and what might need attention in the future, without any pressure to buy new parts today. He also provided a detailed inspection report via email. I highly recommend their services for anyone needing honest, expert help!

  On October 6, 2025, technician Isaak C. from A1 Garage Door Service in San Antonio replaced the rollers on our garage door and performed a 29-Point Safety Inspection. Within a few uses, one of the new rollers came out of the track, which caused the door to twist, bend, and break the glass panel. On October 11, 2025, technician Connor P. inspected the damage. He was polite, professional, and genuinely tried to help, but explained that the door was now damaged beyond repair. He estimated that fixing or replacing the one door would cost $1,500 to $2,000. Both technicians were respectful and professional (hence the 2 stars instead of 1), but the company has refused to take responsibility for the damage caused by their repair. We paid $385 for a roller replacement that left us with a non-functional door and significant damage. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and a dispute through my bank. This review is only meant to warn others to use caution before hiring this company.

  Cory & Henery arrived on time, was very helpful with getting my Garage cleared out so he could install the new Doors ! Cory was very professional and respectful of our home. He set an expectation that he would be finished with the job at a certain time and 9 1/2 hours later he finished and left the garage cleaner that it was when he arrived! We were very pleased with our experience wit everyone we dealt with during this process of replacing to garage doors!!! A big thank you to Henery& Cory for your professionalism and courtesy during this remodel!

  We are moving in a new build. I had a long week of organizing utilities etc, so my nights sleeping is not even real. People think not having your business listed on Google is not important but it is, this company proved it. At 10:38pm I googled best top rated garage door company in San Antonio, A1 popped up at the top with over 1,600 top reviews over the rest. I saw how their company was completely uniformed, professional and well together. What got me, they have a 24/7 customer service line to call. I did and she was professional, clear, helpful and very polite. She got me in for a consultation next the day. They came and with the quote to get the Premium package, they had immediate financing and help right on spot and they got to work right away. They got done in 2hrs, they ensured everything was working, walked me through the app set up and would not leave til done. They were super helpful and professional. Amazing company and services. I have lifetime warranty on everything. And they replaced the door bolts as the new built literally had screws missing out of the door which was going to mess up the door and the functions of the opener. They caught every missing thing. They also replaced the bolts with their lifetime ones. Amazing team. I highly recommend them. Don’t try anyone else.
