  Cant believe I never wrote a review for Mary. How could I not she was wonderful! So when I called Mary I remember crying on the phone because just like every other midwife she was telling me she was booked for the month I was due and this woman had the heart of gold to still take me and see me. I’ll never forget that! She’s very sweet, gentle, informative, and professional. The night of my I went into labor was very fast and intense and she made it to my home very speedy I was impressed. I almost gave birth without her but she arrived just on time. She had a wonderful assistant (I wish I remembered her name) they just were so sweet but very professional and hands off how I wanted. Nothing was done without my consent and they cleaned everything right up like nothing ever happened. It was just all purely magical. I will cherish this experience I had forever. I hope every woman gets to experience this type of birth and this type of care like Mary and her team.

  During my pregnancy, I worked with Mary because I wanted to be as involved and informed about my baby's birth as possible. When I met Mary, we discussed informed consent in length. As a woman and a soon to be mom, it was critical for me to feel that I had a lot of choices during this experience and I did. I felt really empowered and honestly learned so much throughout my pregnancy. Not only did that work well, but Mary's expertise and knowledge resulted in a necessary intervention to deliver a healthy baby. She provided a sounding board of information and compassion throughout my experience which as a new mom is so important. As a parent, it is of utmost importance to work with someone who is focused on the best interest of the family whether that means you get to home birth or not. At times, it might not be the birth you wanted, but the birth that was intended to ensure mom and baby experience a healthy outcome. Mary's reputation far exceeds her. Everyone I spoke to seeking a natural birth knew Mary. She is the top midwife to work with. Meetings and payment schedules worked out well for us. My husband and I highly recommend her.

  Absolutely positively amazing!! I love Mary dearly, the service she provided me during my pregnancy, delivery, AND postpartum was more than I could have ever expected. She’s has such a calming energy, professional, experienced, and has a great team. My home birth with her was everything I hoped for. I am now pregnant with my second baby and I have hired her as my midwife again. I would highly recommend Mary for any mom looking for an amazing home birth.

  Words can't express how thankful I am to have found Mary! My birth was a beautiful experience. The prenatal and postpartum care I have received have been incredible. I didn't receive care or support anywhere near this level when i used OB's previously. I highly recommend A Loving Start!
