  Solicited bids from only 2-Insulation Contractors to insulate my secondary garage attic space, having already researched the top-10 Insulating Companies in the Greater KCMO Area. Both bids were fair and reasonable for the job at hand. But, personally felt A+ Insulation quote better fit/met the specifics of the project’s scope of work. Ricky came to the house to give us the estimate and was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. And did a good job letting me know what all my options were and outlining the advantages of each. Ultimately, decided on blown insulation and was booked within a week. Today, Edwin and Doug came out and completed the job. Received a courtesy call ahead of time, 30+ -minutes before the scheduled appointment to let me know they were on their way. They showed up on time, explained what they were going to do before they started; and were friendly, polite, professional, and fast, finishing the job in 90-minutes; Leaving the job site cleaner than they found it. From beginning to end, everything went smoothly. Bottom line, from start to finish, I had a great experience with A+ Insulation! To the point that I am now looking at getting them to upgrade the insulation in the attic of the rest of the house.

  My house was built in 1950’s, I’ve owned it for 6 years, and no matter how hard I cleaned there was a slight old type of smell in the house. It bothered me so much. Also, my second story took hours to cool off and my utility bills are outrageous in the summer. Well A Plus Insulation and the very thorough crew Antonio and Edwin completely solved those two problems. They removed some old looking mulch like insulation in my first story attic! That was the smell. They air sealed my HVAC ducts, air sealed my attic floor, and completely filled my attics with insulation! The air quality in my home is amazing! Antonio and Edwin were very nice, professional, and hard workers! They were a treat. I can finally say I am comfortable in my home and I believe my bills will start dropping.   We used a+ insulation after we noticed a 10-15 degree difference between the upstairs and downstairs in our house. Our before pictures on my thermal camera showed a lot of hot spots throughout our house. Ricky was the person who gave us our initial quote. He was extremely professional, very respectful of our home, and thoroughly explained the process of what would happen. The crew that arrived on the insulation day did an excellent job air sealing and insulating our home, they put plastic and moving blankets in places the hose made contact with protecting our home. They were in and out very quickly and they did such an excellent job cleaning up you couldn't even tell they were there (aside from the house being way more comfortable). They were also very nice and invited me in the attic during the insulation stages to see the progress. The documentation that was provided afterwards was also very thorough. We noticed a massive difference immediately. The temperature difference between the upstairs and downstairs is basically non-existent now, and the after pictures on the thermal camera showed the hot spots are basically gone. I also really appreciate that Ricky followed up afterwards to see how we were doing. Ricky and the crew that did our install are all a treasure and very detail oriented
