I called in a panic because my grandparents natural gas furnace went on 4/23/24 and my grandmother is on oxygen. I spoke to Jeff who explained they are a 4th generation business and he has lived in Freeport since 1977. Jeff told me he would get either himself or one of his sons (Matt or Eric) to come check it out this afternoon! That afternoon! It’s a navian and these systems are so complicated, it’s hard enough to get someone to work on them. We thought the whole thing needed to be replaced, and that’s all most HVAC contractors would do, so it was going to cost thousands. Jeff said ‘let us take a look’. When his son came, he said it looks like the internal pump and he quoted a number in the hundreds! They said they needed to order the part and it won’t be here for 2 days. But they surprised my grandparents, both Matt & Eric coming the NEXT DAY, fixing the whole furnace, and changing the thermostat that had been on the Fritz for the exact price they quoted. My grandparents had hot water and heat again before Matt & Eric left, within under 2 hours!! My grandmother is normally freezing at night because of the heat inconsistency but she was finally warm last night! I highly recommend this family of HVAC professionals. They are incredibly knowledgeable. Thank you A&I!!
