  I have ‘t seen a smile like this from being bathed, groomed and nail trim since I do not know when! Even when picking her up, she was so relaxed. Took her to A Dog’s Dream in New Bern. Patty, Gracie and staff all made Luna Mae at ease the moment we walked in….a miracle! Piper goes for her annual vet check up tomorrow and they will be going to A Dogs Dream from now on. I do not mind the drive at all. I’m just very blessed to have Luna and Piper in my life, all of you at CCHS and now the staff at A Dog’s Dream ❤️🙋🏻‍♀️🐾🐾🍁🍂🤗 Highly recommending this most accommodating, caring and experienced staff!

  We’ve been taking our dogs to daycare every day here for years and they love it! Awesome staff and very kind owners. The grooming is also top-notch! My pup’s smile says it all :)

  The staff seemed nice and I didn't have any issues with them directly. Took my bernadoodle to get groomed for the first time a couple of weeks ago. He is my in-home service dog. I am super allergic to fragrances though, and unfortunately, despite asking for fragrance-free products only, my dog came home smelling very strongly of something fragrant. it's been two weeks and I can still faintly smell it on him. It has been so difficult because I cannot be around my dog now due to my allergies! I don't know if they used a scented product on him, or if their facility just smells THAT powerful on its own, but that is a major deal breaker for me. Our previous groomers has not had this issue so I know it is possible for my dog to be groomed and not to smell like a field of wildflowers for ages afterwards. Additionally, they didn't quite follow our grooming instructions so he ended up with a much longer tail and whiskers than we usually prefer. He also has this little wart/skin tag on his chest that he suddenly started licking obsessively after being groomed. We looked closely and it appears that it has been cut or nicked in some way and that it is really bothering him, when it was fine prior to grooming. He has the cone of shame on because otherwise he will not stop messing with that area. If this persists, we will have to bite the bullet and take him to the vet... If you aren't super specific about your dog's grooming, I'm sure this place is great. And I know that if I wanted fragrance on my dog I would likely be singing their praises for doing such a great job that he still smells "good" over a week later. But for me, it just didn't work out. I need my dog to be groomed as per my instructions because I can literally get sick if my dog comes home smelling like any sort of product. This time around, my dog would not even approach me when he came home because he could tell I was getting sick when he would get close to me. We tried this place because our previous groomer has health challenges and can't do big dogs anymore. I'm super sad that they didn't work out, but it is what it is, I guess. Back to the hunt for a good, local groomer...

  My dog absolutely loves going to daycare here! With his bad separation anxiety, it was awful everytime me and my boyfriend had to go to work and worry about him at home. Now, I feel relieved knowing he's being taken care of wonderfully and is having tons of fun playing with other dogs. I researched all the doggy daycares around the area and I'm so happy this is the one I choose for my dog. He always comes home tired from playing all day and he seems to really love the staff there. Staff is always very friendly when he gets dropped off! I would recommend their doggy daycare to anyone who wants their baby in a safe and fun place
