  We had a very disappointing experience with A1 Garage Door. They charged my mom almost $300 just to look at the problem and do a “diagnostic,” but didn’t explain anything or offer real help. We did not even receive a report listing out the issues. We later found out from another company that we were completely overcharged. If you are unfamiliar with Garage doors and their issues I would highly recommend to not call A1.

  Make sure you get multiple quotes when you are thinking about replacing your garage doors. They quoted me over 3x what two other national companies quoted for the exact same manufacturer, door style, color and 25k cycle springs. ($8k vs $27k)

  Get a business card when they come out so you know who you're dealing with also get their quote in writing. Not happy, was charged $100. more than their quote (it's the principal). In the end it was explained as a misunderstanding. I'm 86 and on a fixed income so it all matters to me. Alice
