I was calling around to see which bodyshop in Garden City would send someone out to my residency since I can’t drive the vehicle. They have a radio ad that plays all the time that says “the best shop in town” ...I’m sure their services are good but to be “the best” is starts with a professional conversation between the client and whoever is receiving the information.
- KRKen RishelJul 7, 20191.0Took car in for rear bumper replacement. Shop said 5 days. NEVER had communications from the body shop. Called at end of 5 days only to find out there was a parts problem. Told me no idea when it would be done. Called at end of second week only to be told they found additional damage. Called on the 19th day and vehicle was finally done however the shop had no intention of calling me. At NO time did this shop contact me about delays or completion. Went to pick up the car and was very snottily told I had to show up with cash for my deductible. I told the owner that I thought their shop was the most despicable and unreliable shop I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. The owner started screaming at me, called me a motherf$)(; and to get out of his shop.
