I truly can't even give one star!!! First been with them since 2021, when they change office management the whole place went to shit, my husband suffered cardiac arrest and was off work, we did get behind in our payments, I was notified my unit was up to be unlocked and photographed for auction purposes, I totally understand that, what don't understand is, I went in and paid cash to get my unit in a zero balance, my balance was zero owing, I then was told if I went past 31 days, I could be evicted, I had no problem with that, what problem I did have was, l received a eviction notice after I was told I wouldn't, that was fine ok no problem I have 7 days that works, what wasn't ok is they locked my gate code out and over locked my unit with a zero balance, I owed them nothing, I was told I had to come to the office to get in the gate then I had to wait for someone to come and take their lock off my unit, if I owed nothing there was no reason for this, it was a control issue the office girl had, I was treat like a criminal, it was not ok having to go in the office to ask to get to my unit and waiting for her to come unlock my unit, if I owed I totally understand the over locked, but not with a zero balance, then my 7day eviction would fall on a Sunday on a day they are closed, she felt so gracious to allow a extra day, if your closed that is not one of your 7 days, she needs to learn what legal rights she has and doesn’t have before she gets that company sued for illegal procedures, as any company they have certain laws that have to be fallowed…so with a 7 day eviction, I had 56 hours only from 10 to
6, to be moving my stuff, that's not even 3 full days, I was told at 6 o'clock on the 7th day I would not be able to get my stuff, and it would be their property, I have contacted the better business bureau and ODJ and filed report for their in ethical practices , I was told if I have a zero balance that isn't legal to do, no where in my contract does it state anything near that, and I am seeking legal assistance on this matter, as I think I'm probably not the only one they have done this too, they have lost so much business since Darrel was let go and hasn't been managing the property, I paid 236 a month for a place that's infested with rats, the rat feces was unreal, so much of my property is damaged, I can't even tell you how much of my property I had to thrown out from rat feces and stuff that had been eaten by rats, it was disgusting, my storage unit had nothing but furniture and clothes and important paperwork in it, no food nothing and the rat feces was everywhere, and the office girl had the audacity to tell me if my unit isn't clean and swept out, I would be charged a cleaning fee, are you serious, if your charging 236 dollars a month for a unit, it should be clean and not infested with rats because obviously they are not running a cleaning storage facility.. and the office girl acted like the rat issue was something new and a bit surprised, but after read many many reviews, I see this has been a on going issue with their storage facility…Unfortunately what use to be a decent storage facility with good management has went to hell…
