First, I have to say when they are on it, the 4-Rivers BBQ is right up there at the top. I love the brisket, wing, the ribs, burnt ends, baked beans, coleslaw, greens, and the Bayou Bar dessert is wonderful. The problem is receiving all the items you pay for. Sometimes there are slight quality variations, but in general it is missing items. Early on when I first started ordering from them, I couldn’t get a consistent amount of BBQ sauce delivered, so I resorted to PAYing for a pint. What…you can get all the sauce you want dining in, you say…but I digress. Also a problem here is that you can’t get a straight answer from Uber Eats or 4 Rivers…who is responsible for missing items? Anyways, this last time, after again, having multiple items missed to the tune of ~$16 including the fries for the second time in a row, plus the $6 and change in BBQ sauce that I PAID for, and plus another $16 in tip that Uber Refused to refund, 4-Rivers kind of came through with a $40 credit, but does that offset missing 3-4 items, one of which is the main accompaniment (BBQ sauce) to the $125 in meat I paid for (except for the few packets they threw in the bag)? It wasn’t terrible, but why can’t someone run out to bring a critical missing item from your meal? If they would have put everything in the bag - they would have got 5 stars. And Uber Eats flat out committed fraud, as they didn’t deliver what I paid for and refused to refund those items and the tip after multiple requests. Uber only offered a partial future credit (that I repeatedly declined) that didn’t cover the missing items and tip, and Uber absolutely refused to call me to discuss the matter. My recommendation is to avoid Uber completely and dine-in at 4 Rivers or pick it up yourself and check the bag before you leave. If you get everything you pay for, it is usually great.

The food was very good, the price is affordable, the environment is very southern and enjoyable. The burnt ends were very good.

I don’t know what it is, but these clowns can’t check an order for accuracy. When you’re paying as much as you are for BBQ, you expect them to get it right. But to screw up on a basic order, they really should be paying you to eat here. 0/10. Will NEVER come back. My expectations for management were low, but my god. They’ve even undershot that.

A white truck with license plate IEMU90, belonging to the 4 Rivers Smokehouse chain, was seen on Highway 417 near University Blvd in Orlando, FL, driving recklessly. The driver was making sudden lane changes, disrupting the safety of the road and putting other drivers at risk, with the potential to cause an accident. Please address this situation to prevent something truly serious

I ordered the 2x2 with pulled pork and burnt ends. Sides were mac and cheese and BBQ beans. The meats were generous and cooked well. Tender and tasty! The sides were great, too. Mac and cheese was rich and creamy. The beans had a good flavor with pieces of pork in them. I was there during early dinner (around 5:15 pm). It was just starting to pick up so I didn't have to wait long. The service was really good. Friendly and informative. I will definitely go back.
