3 Margaritas restaurant is an example of the immigrant dream, which included financial success as well as a chance to go back home and help those left behind. The nine Morales kids, six girls and three boys, slept on mats on the floor of a two bedroom house at their small ranch. After school they worked in the fields. Today all of them own at least one restaurant. After crossing the border Nicolas Morales ended up in Seattle where his brother Manuel lived.

The restaurant had a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere that set a great tone for the night. The colorful decorations were full of personality, and it instantly lifted my mood. The food was authentic and flavorful. The portion sizes were generousβI couldn't even finish my meal!

If you come in there early evening and you're lucky enough to have Esmeralda or Annaye as your server, consider yourself very lucky. But all staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is consistently good and well portioned. No matter what you choose to eat, everything is great.
