  Food was great service very good and friendly. Menu and payments are high tech, which I appreciate. Bread was outstanding. Lots of South Indian dishes to try on future visits. Thanks

  Food was delicious! Really enjoyed the level of spice and taste of the Chicken 65! Wife got dosa which she enjoyed and malai kofta was very tasty. Thanks to Gourish for the nice service as well.

  The food here is amazing a must visit restaurant 😊. And options in the menu are really vast. I was confused for a while what should I get 😄. We tried the 70mm paper masala dosa, rava dosa and MLA pesarattu, all were crispy and so good in taste. 100/100. Staff is friendly and place is very clean. 5 stars for over all service and food is really amazing.

  The "heat" is always on at the 1947 restaurant in Norwood. If you can't tolerate spicy food, this not the place for you. But if you can, man-o-man, the food is delicious and quite spicy, just the way I like it. While I'm sure they may have non spicy dishes or dishes they could reduce the heat/spices, I come for the authenticity. Service is always kind, professional, and ready to assist with questions and menu suggestions.

  We've been coming to this Indian restaurant for years, and it continues to be one of our absolute favorites. The food is consistently delicious, and the service is always top-notch. There are a few dishes we've loved from the start—and no matter how many times we order them, we never get bored. Special thanks to the staff for always making us feel welcome, especially Gauresh, who is exceptionally courteous and warm every time we visit. It’s the kind of place that keeps you coming back—not just for the food, but for the people too. Highly recommended!
