  Let me start with the good - Service was great, everyone was nice and friendly! Our entrees were phenomenal…chicken wings were hot, well seasoned, moist, large, golden, and crispy. Pork chop was delightful. The Mac and cheese and greens were lacking, as they all tasted as if the same Cajun base/seasoning was used. Mac and cheese was also over peppered and lacked cheese. Red bean and rice were a bit over seasoned. However, the dirty rice and cabbage were good! Peach cobbler was also solid! Overall I would definitely come back for the meat, but probably wouldn’t try another side.

  Just tried this restaurant for the first time and was blown away by how good the food is. I haven't had green beans like this since my Momma passed away 25 years ago. The portions are huge. I got the pork chop sandwich and half of it will be for lunch tomorrow. Did I mention how great the food taste. The prices are shockingly cheap. The people that helped us were so nice. Our new Favorite place in Kansas City, Kansas.

  First time ordering the 1/2 lb of basa and steak fries. The fish was seasoned just right and the steak fries are always good. I had ordered a peach cobbler but they hadn't had time to make any this day. I was so disappointed because their peach cobbler is the bomb.com!

  Was recommended to stop by after work and try this place out! I was glad I did!!! Ordered chicken sandwich which was huge and ordered a smash burger for my other half. Both were outstanding!!! Big portions and great flavor!!! Will be visiting again!

  While I ordered online and drove over 20 minutes to get home to eat the flavor and freshness of the food was amazing. The portions are worth the price, the employees are kind, and out going. I ordered the ox tail dinner with cabbage, and a side of Mac and cheese. Also ordered the basa with collard greens. The ox tail was a little too spicy for my taste however the rice help cut the spice down and the flavor again was amazing. There is enough for 4 dinners. The basa was perfection. Fresh, warm, crispy and soft. Again seasoning and breading perfection. I will be back to try the pork chop and fried chicken. Cabbage was amazing, greens fire, and Mac and cheese was good. But don't take my word swing by and try it for yourself!!!
