We just moved into the unit and the building manager, whose name is Clevens, was very helpful so far. Thank you!

107 Redpath Avenue
a very disappointing experience at 107 Redpath Avenue. This apartment building has some of the worst management I’ve ever dealt with. They are unresponsive, unhelpful, and completely unavailable when you need them. There are ongoing issues in the building, but management shows little interest in resolving them.

I’ve been living in this building for a while, and unfortunately, the management has gone downhill.
There is zero communication. My A/C stopped working, and when I tried to reach the building manager, he was unavailable. I spoke to someone else who claimed a notice had been sent out about a 2-day A/C shutdown — but I checked with four other units, and no one received any notice.
Another day, the fire alarm was going off non-stop for more than half a day, and again, there was no building manager on site to deal with the situation.
The parking situation is also out of control. Anyone can park in private spots without any enforcement. My own parking spot was used twice by someone else, and when I contacted the building manager, he didn’t respond for 12 hours. When he finally did, he told me to feel free to call parking enforcement myself — something that should be his responsibility, not mine.
There used to be superintend here 24/7 who would handle problems promptly. Now, the building feels completely neglected. It's become a mess.

While not a tenant, I have visited this building multiple times. Seems the management company have dismissed the superintendent couple (and gave them 7 days to get out, in this housing crisis, talk about corporate greed). The building used to be pristine, you could literally eat off the floors. Now...not so much. The grass is overgrown, the halls are dirty, the glass is smudged and the garbage is overflowing attracting all kinds of critters.
Disgraceful. Avoid renting from this company at all costs.

Ever since Cogir decided to fire the superintendents, this building has gone completely downhill. The supers actually cared about the place and were always around to help when something broke or needed attention. Now? It feels like no one’s in charge.
Repairs take forever (if they happen at all), the building isn’t as clean as it used to be, and there’s zero communication from management. It’s honestly frustrating to live here now. You can tell they’re just cutting costs without thinking about the people who actually live in the building.
This used to be a great place to live but it’s really disappointing to see how far it’s fallen. I wouldn’t recommend a Cogir managed property to anyone at this point.
