VERY unprofessional AND lack of knowledge!
First, the gentleman who approached as I was looking at the Rolex section was very dismissive. Maybe it was because of what I was wearing? Sweats and a shirt.
Second, I politely asked if one of the watches was the Kermit or Starbucks, which he replied ‘we don’t use street names here.’ Glad to see that you are well versed in your own watch collection.
Third, after that comment I asked him when the watch was manufactured, because based on dates you can tell which model it is. He stated ‘in order to be in our certified pre-owned collection it has to be less than 2 years old.’
Nice to know that the Rolex expert did not know anything about the watch, OR how you all do pre-owned watches. Your own website has numerous watches with reference numbers well beyond 2 years. I won’t use ‘street names’ because I know that hurts you, so REF:M116610LV, ended production in 2020, I believe we are in 2025, amongst others.
Additional, I’m not sure why all of your prices are $5,000 to $7,000 more than any other AD I’ve visited in the US.
Anyways, I took my ‘street names’ to another AD, who treat customers like humans, and purchased the Rolex, Breitling, and Tudor that we needed.
