  I was truly amazed by the quality of service at this location! Every single staff member I interacted with, four in total, plus the doctor, was incredibly friendly and professional. Their communication was clear and straightforward, which made the entire experience smooth and pleasant. This will definitely be my go to place for glasses and eye exams, and I’ll be recommending it to all my friends and coworkers. The prices are great too! Highly recommend!

  ⭐ 1 Star – Disappointing Experience I ordered 4 pairs of glasses from Spacsaver, and when I went to pick them up, we checked the fitting. Out of the 4, two were very loose. The staff tried to adjust them, but that actually made things worse.one of the frames got uneven and bent. The girl who was helping me said it’s because the frame “expanded” after the lenses were put in. But when I tried the demo frame before ordering, it fit perfectly fine. If that’s the case, why didn’t anyone mention that the frame could expand after lenses are added so I could’ve chosen something else? I decided to return the frame, but now they’re saying one of them was a “free frame” and are only giving me $60 back for a frame that cost $249. Honestly, that feels like a scam. Really disappointed with both the quality and how they handled the situation. Wouldn’t recommend Spacsaver at all.

  I came to exchange my glasses that I bought from Specsavers, and one of the sales representatives was friendly and asked me if I needed help. However, when I asked another employee to help me to organize the exchange she quickly dismissed me and said they can’t because it was out of the allowed exchange time frame. I gently informed her I still had at least one more week to exchange. She seemed to grudgingly proceed with trying to look into my order. She soon claimed that since I originally bought my glasses at a different location, she couldn’t process my exchange because their system wouldn’t be able to program it. I found it odd that the franchise wasn’t able to process an exchange, and was disappointed but I trusted her word and kindly thanked her. I left feeling like she didn’t want to help me that evening and that she lacked effort and care. I went to the Pickering Specsavers and everyone was so kind and attentive. Most importantly, they were able to exchange my glasses without any issues. The Square One Specsavers was a hassle to get to and I’m still disappointed that I was dismissed of service and effort so quickly. Perhaps some of their staff need additional training.

  I went in today hoping to get help after 2 weeks of trying to figure out who could help me with my glasses and I was had the most uncomfortable experience. The woman who helped me was rude and treated me like I knew nothing. When I asked for clarification she was not helpful but almost laughing at me for my inquiry. It was an uncomfortable experience and I don’t feel like going back to ask for assistance there. Such a bad experience.

  I had such a wonderful experience at Specsavers Square One! Dr. Sekhon and his team were incredibly friendly, professional, and accommodating from start to finish. Dr. Sekhon took the time to thoroughly explain everything during my eye exam and made sure I felt completely comfortable. The staff were equally amazing, so kind, patient, and helpful. Their customer service is truly exceptional, and it’s clear they genuinely care about their patients. I left feeling confident and well taken care of. Highly recommend Specsavers Square One if you’re looking for a great optometrist and an outstanding team!
