I visited Specsavers today and was helped by a guy named Jason. He was absolutely amazing — very friendly, warm, and professional. He explained everything in detail and went above and beyond to help me understand all the options. I really appreciated his attitude and care. I’m already looking forward to my upcoming appointment! I have never write a review not until today. I don't even want to give a star for the bad customer service I have received from one of the lady at the front, I am only referring to one specific lady (too bad I wasn't able to get her name). The first appointment was superb, staff are friendly and accommodating but I went back yesterday, October 2nd for a follow-up. My appointment was scheduled at 4pm and I arrived 3:55pm. I received a text reminder saying " If you can, please arrive 10-15 minutes" but as soon as I arrived and told the lady I have appointment at 4pm, she just told me I am late and they couldn't do it because she claimed I was told to arrive 30-40 minutes prior for the eye drops like what??? you never told me verbally or through text. And your tone of voice? it's very offending and disappointing, you could have just say it in a nice way without that tone. yes, you ask me to wait for another hour or to reschedule but I already had a bad day, so no thank you. You know the feeling of having a not so good day, missing hours of work and rushing everything just to get to my appointment? Please be considerate and be nice to your client, so others won't experience it.
On the other hand, I would like to appreciate the Dr. Ma and the staff during my first visit for their excellent customer service. Dr. Ma was knowledgeable and was able to provide very informative information.

Came here because of the good reviews but felt very disappointed after my mom’s experience. I was with her when we booked the appointment, and we weren’t given the policy until the reminder message which clearly said to arrive 10–15 minutes before. On the day of her exam, she was only 5 minutes late, yet the receptionist was rude and dismissive, insisting she should have come 30–40 minutes early.
To make it worse, they refused to take her in at all. I wasn’t there during the appointment, but I felt bad for my mom with how poorly she was treated. The whole situation could have been handled with more understanding and kindness.

Best experience you could hope for, everyone was incredibly kind, attentive and informative. Dr Ben Ma explained everything in detail, had fun jokes, and I felt comfortable the entire time. Laura helped me pick out my glasses and was very kind and helpful as well! I didn't catch the girls name who greeted me (she had long dark hair) but she was also great!!! Everyone made the experience seamless, and thank you to them for being at work past regular 'office work hours, it is tiring, so huge kudos to everyone :)
