I wear contacts and never wear my glasses but last year I needed an eye exam which was fine until I come back this year to order contacts. My exam was less than a year ago but they told me that it was a glasses exam and not a contact exam. They never told me that or any difference in what the exam entails since it’s the same price. I told them I don’t even use my glasses multiple times so why would they make me do a glasses exam. They also make you sign the consent form after they take your glasses/contacts so you don’t even know what you are signing. What made me upset as well was I went for the contacts exam over a week ago and they said my contacts will be in by 3-5 business days. That’s fine but it’s been over a week so I called them and they told me they don’t know what happened or where they were so they would call me back. Went into the store today since they never called back and they said they ordered the contacts yesterday so it will be another week before they come. I am fine for most things but I don’t like when people don’t tell me what is going on. Not very happy to say the least.

How much is an eye exam?
Our comprehensive eye exams cost $99 at participating stores and include an OCT scan at no additional charge. This is a detailed 3D image of your eye and its structures, helping your optometrist to spot eye conditions even earlier. If you're 65 or over you can get a comprehensive eye exam with no out of pocket expense to you (costs covered by provincial health care plan for eligible patients).
How do I book an eye exam?
You can easily book an eye exam with us online. Just select the store and click ‘book appointment’ and our website will be able to easily take you through the booking process! You can also just give us a call or pop in and see us and we'll be able to book you in for an appointment and help with any questions you might have.
Can I return my glasses?
Yes, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase at Specsavers. If you have any concerns within three months of the date of purchase, we'll put it right.
How can I amend or cancel my order?
If you placed your order in-store with us and you’d like to amend or cancel it, just pop in and see us. As a part of our no worries, no fuss guarantee, you're able to amend or return your glasses within 3 months.
Can I get my glasses adjusted/repaired?
If you’re experiencing any discomfort or issues at all with your glasses, just pop in and see us and we'll see if we can adjust or repair them in-store for you.
