The mall shop overall was tidy and well organized. I was able pick the frame I believe fits my face shape well. Finally, doctor Meagan was so professional. I really commend everyone in this shop. I am not really sure if their prices were competetively higher? in comparison with others because I haven't tried to visit some of the opticals nearby. Overall I would recco Specsaver. - KPkim prostSep 20, 20251.0I unfortunately had a very bad experience at this optical store. It was a new new doctor to me, she asked me if I wanted drops in my eyes. I've never had them so I said yeah. Let's go ahead and do them. She didn't ask me if I had driven myself. I am 65 years old, I got in my vehicle after having these drops in my eyes and it was absolutely traumatizing. After speaking to an employee of the store, a person is supposed to be asked if they are driving a vehicle before putting these drops in your eyes. Update, received an email sending me my prescription telling me to get my contacts somewhere else, And I'm fine with that, after the poor treatment and unprofessionality of this store. I don't want contact lenses. But I didn't want to be rude and cancel them that they were already being made. If they were going to cancel my order I should have been told right away, not 10 days later. When I was half expecting them to call me any day now. After reading some of the other one-star reviews, I'm not off the mark here as to the poor poor customer service. Not only should they be warning people about these drops before they get in a vehicle, it should be warned at the time of making the appointment so that a person can arrange a ride. I will be contacting the owners of specsaver who are the Perkins, a uk-based company. I'm sure they will be interested to know how their store is being run here in Kelowna. Worst experience I've ever had with an optometry store.

How much is an eye exam?
Our comprehensive eye exams cost $99 at participating stores and include an OCT scan at no additional charge. This is a detailed 3D image of your eye and its structures, helping your optometrist to spot eye conditions even earlier. If you're 65 or over you can get a comprehensive eye exam with no out of pocket expense to you (costs covered by provincial health care plan for eligible patients).
How do I book an eye exam?
You can easily book an eye exam with us online. Just select the store and click ‘book appointment’ and our website will be able to easily take you through the booking process! You can also just give us a call or pop in and see us and we'll be able to book you in for an appointment and help with any questions you might have.
Can I return my glasses?
Yes, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase at Specsavers. If you have any concerns within three months of the date of purchase, we'll put it right.
How can I amend or cancel my order?
If you placed your order in-store with us and you’d like to amend or cancel it, just pop in and see us. As a part of our no worries, no fuss guarantee, you're able to amend or return your glasses within 3 months.
Can I get my glasses adjusted/repaired?
If you’re experiencing any discomfort or issues at all with your glasses, just pop in and see us and we'll see if we can adjust or repair them in-store for you.
