- XYXIAOJIE YEtoday3.0I had a great experience with the eye exam itself—the process was smooth and the optometrist and the eye doctor were absolutely wonderful. They were professional and made me feel well cared for. However, I did feel uncomfortable during the sales portion. The sales representative was helpful at first, but then began commenting on my insurance policy. He told me that my insurance was on the very low end and listed coverages that other companies offer that he knew of. While I appreciate the effort to inform me, the way it was presented made me feel uneasy and judged. I hope this feedback helps improve how sensitive topics like insurance are handled in future interactions.

The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the whole process — from the eye exam to helping me choose new frames. I especially love my new glasses with the blue light filter; they’re super comfortable and make a real difference when working on screens. They also had a great promo at the time with a nice discount when buying two pairs, which made it even better. Overall, I’m really happy with the service and my new glasses — highly recommend!

Not only did he check my eyes health thoroughly, he made sure I was ordering contacts that were the perfect prescription and fit perfectly. He goes above and beyond for you to make sure you leave the store with what you need. And the store itself has some good deals typically for whatever you need.

I let them know I would feel more comfortable if I had paid since I wasn’t from Hamilton. The doctor said it was ok, and the lady said they don’t take any forms of payment at the shop!! 🤣 I, again, thank you from the bottom of my heart!!❤️

How much is an eye exam?
Our comprehensive eye exams cost $99 at participating stores and include an OCT scan at no additional charge. This is a detailed 3D image of your eye and its structures, helping your optometrist to spot eye conditions even earlier. If you're 65 or over you can get a comprehensive eye exam with no out of pocket expense to you (costs covered by provincial health care plan for eligible patients).
How do I book an eye exam?
You can easily book an eye exam with us online. Just select the store and click ‘book appointment’ and our website will be able to easily take you through the booking process! You can also just give us a call or pop in and see us and we'll be able to book you in for an appointment and help with any questions you might have.
Can I return my glasses?
Yes, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase at Specsavers. If you have any concerns within three months of the date of purchase, we'll put it right.
How can I amend or cancel my order?
If you placed your order in-store with us and you’d like to amend or cancel it, just pop in and see us. As a part of our no worries, no fuss guarantee, you're able to amend or return your glasses within 3 months.
Can I get my glasses adjusted/repaired?
If you’re experiencing any discomfort or issues at all with your glasses, just pop in and see us and we'll see if we can adjust or repair them in-store for you.
