I am super impressed with the wonderful staff and service. Staff was respectful of each other and to customers. Eye health was explained and the choosing and fitting of glasses was fantastic. - NCNikki CherringtonSep 22, 20251.0I recently visited Specsavers to get a new nose pad for my glasses and to explore possible alternatives, but unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. I understand that my glasses may require a specific type of nose pad that they couldn’t provide, which is completely fair — not every store can stock everything. What really let the experience down, however, was the way I was treated. Rather than offering any helpful advice, suggestions, or even a basic explanation of what my options might be, I was dismissed quite rudely. The staff made it clear they couldn’t help and seemed more interested in getting me out the door than offering any customer service. A simple “We can’t help with that, but you might want to try X or Y” would have gone a long way. Instead, I left feeling unwelcome and frustrated. It’s disappointing to receive that kind of treatment when you’re just looking for a bit of guidance. I hope this was a one-off experience and not reflective of the general customer service at this location, but based on this visit, I won’t be returning anytime soon.

How much is an eye exam?
Our comprehensive eye exams cost $99 at participating stores and include an OCT scan at no additional charge. This is a detailed 3D image of your eye and its structures, helping your optometrist to spot eye conditions even earlier. If you're 65 or over you can get a comprehensive eye exam with no out of pocket expense to you (costs covered by provincial health care plan for eligible patients).
How do I book an eye exam?
You can easily book an eye exam with us online. Just select the store and click ‘book appointment’ and our website will be able to easily take you through the booking process! You can also just give us a call or pop in and see us and we'll be able to book you in for an appointment and help with any questions you might have.
Can I return my glasses?
Yes, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase at Specsavers. If you have any concerns within three months of the date of purchase, we'll put it right.
How can I amend or cancel my order?
If you placed your order in-store with us and you’d like to amend or cancel it, just pop in and see us. As a part of our no worries, no fuss guarantee, you're able to amend or return your glasses within 3 months.
Can I get my glasses adjusted/repaired?
If you’re experiencing any discomfort or issues at all with your glasses, just pop in and see us and we'll see if we can adjust or repair them in-store for you.
